The Bixby Knolls Community Foundation (BKCF) was founded in 2019 as an independent philanthropic entity that is linked to the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association. While the Business Improvement Association focuses on commerce, BKCF operates as a separate organization that serves Bixby Knolls through programming that addresses community needs.
Business Grants
Helping support Long Beach businesses through funding opportunities to improve storefronts, enhance safety, recover from unexpected challenges, and create community-focused events. Available grants include Facade Improvement, Micro-Event, Crime Response, and Safety Lighting & Security Camera Grants.
Arts Programming
Supporting local talent by bringing artists and art lovers together with a diverse selection of art-centric events, blending art and cultural experiences to the neighborhood. Programming includes concerts and performance art, commissioned murals and art walks, literature and music appreciation evenings, and much more.
Clean & Safe
Supporting a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming business district through trash abatement, graffiti removal, tree watering, landscaping, and private security services. We also partner with local volunteer clean teams and community groups to help keep our neighborhood looking its best.
